I heartily encourage you to proceed with your move to Vegas. You might need to re-enter your serial number and/or the email address you used for registration. In my view, Pinnacle remains hands-down the leader in low-cost titling - its Titledeiko far more intuitive - if limited - than stuff that ships with Vegas.īut, in terms of the editing interface, you will be astounded by how easy and intuitive working in Vegas is compared to all the opening/closing you have to do to in Studio to achieve anything approaching the workflow you have readily available to you in Vegas. If at any point you experience issues installing updates, uninstall your software using the Windows Control panel, download your version of Pinnacle Studio, and reinstall. Vegas includes a switch to ignore all third party codecs that provides ultimate insurance against interference from the Pinnacle software (this used to be a major headache - I haven't been bothered by Pinnacle interference in I don't remember how long). There never seems to be a whimper from Vegas. I purchased Studio 7 and left the Pinnacle path at that point, although, recently, in order to digitize some of my analog stuff without dubbing to my digi8 cam, I bought a Dazzle thingy (DVC90) that included a throttled down version of Studio 9.ĭepending upon my mood (and my needs - mostly for Studio's Titledeiko utility), I install/uninstall Studio at will. I can echo all that has been offered so far on this thread.
